Kapa`au Clinic Builds Community (and Parade Float)!

Happy Kamehameha Day!

The Hamakua-Kohala Health Kapa`au Clinic team built a float for the and participated in the Parade!

Thank you to all that showed up to build the float; Lydia (Thank you for the sandwiches!!!), Arlene (Thank you for the Haku!!!), Wendi and Puni (her other half who donated the truck and trailer for the parade), Dr. McKenna, Nelli, Kai (and the kids), and Regina and John (and their grandkids, who are always a great support for the health center).

The team brought all kinds of flowers, bamboo, monsteria and other plants and put together the float for the kids in about five hours. A big MAHALO to Joy Campollo  who decorated and made Ti leaf leis for the staff and a lei for the statue of King Kamehameha.

“I was extremely impressed and grateful for the participation of the Kohala staff in the Kamehameha Day Parade; the staff were able to produce a very impressive float,” said CEO Irene Carpenter.

GREAT JOB EVERYONE!
